El caso de Venezuela y parte de Colombia ser\u00e1 el centro de este texto, donde su evoluci\u00f3n desemboc\u00f3 en el joropo, nombre que proviene del \u00e1rabe Xarop (\u0634\u0631\u0627\u0628) y fue adoptado por su cercan\u00eda a la palabra soropo, un tipo de vivienda del llanero construida con palma real y otros materiales (Martin, 1979). El joropo es un elemento identitario de Venezuela, donde se manifiesta en forma de m\u00fasica, baile y anteriormente como ceremonia; asimismo, se heredan del fandango y el fandanguillo elementos clave como \u201cel paso de valsiao, el zapateo y baile por parejas independientes; la improvisaci\u00f3n de coplas de los bailadores, adem\u00e1s del traje agitanado y el pa\u00f1uelo que usaron nuestros antepasados\u201d (Mart\u00edn, 1979). M\u00faltiples compositores han resaltado el origen flamenco del joropo a trav\u00e9s de composiciones, algunos casos son <em>Del flamenco al Joropo<\/em> de Tom\u00e1s Montilla, el musical <em>Venezuela viva<\/em> con participaci\u00f3n de C\u00e9sar Orozco, <em>Pajarillo<\/em> moro del Ensamble Garrufio o Xarop &#8211; <em>La traves\u00eda del joropo<\/em> de Ignacio Ramos. Esta \u00faltima, del a\u00f1o 2015, ser\u00e1 en la que se centrar\u00e1 el texto, buscando identificar elementos musicales y organol\u00f3gicos usados por el compositor que refuercen su ascendencia flamenca desde su identidad venezolana. font-variant-ligatures: common-ligatures; color: #000000; font-family: Helvetica; font-size: medium;\">Caj\u00f3n peruano<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Como elemento enlace clave, desde el siglo XIX se documentaba la herencia del cuatro a partir de la guitarra del flamenco (Bol\u00edvar, 1846, citado en Lozano, 2016 p. 2): \u201cLa guitarra del llanero es peque\u00f1a y r\u00fastica, con cuatro cuerdas forjadas por su mano con tripas de recental\u201d, dejando clara la herencia instrumental en esta regi\u00f3n de Am\u00e9rica. Como instrumento originario de Venezuela destacan los capachos o maracas, a los cuales Mart\u00edn (1979) denomina \u201caborigen\u201d al referirse a ellos como la \u00fanica excepci\u00f3n entre los instrumentos tradicionales del g\u00e9nero, arpa, cuatro y capachos.<\/p>\n<p>Respecto a la<em> Tabla 1<\/em> es importante tener en cuenta que los denominados instrumentos no tradicionales pueden ser encontrados en los g\u00e9neros mencionados gracias a la mixtura musical que se vio a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, por lo cual, a pesar de encontrarse en la actualidad, no est\u00e1n estrictamente enlazados con surgimiento de las tradiciones evaluadas. al respecto Lozano (2016, p. 2) concluye que \u201celementos como los llamados y las notas largas que se mantienen en la voz son heredados del cante flamenco (\u2026) la t\u00e9cnica visceral de las cantaoras de flamenco se ve ampliamente expandida en el canto recio\u201d<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Elementos compositivos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La traves\u00eda del joropo est\u00e1 compuesta en sol menor y es un elemento conductivo a trav\u00e9s de todo el discurso musical, siendo explotado mel\u00f3dicamente a partir de la escala en modo arm\u00f3nico, la cual se aprovecha de los m\u00faltiples ritmos usados logrando diversas sonoridades dentro de un mismo contexto. Destacan citas del autor a otros creadores e int\u00e9rpretes dentro del g\u00e9nero flamenco, como por ejemplo el Groove de bajo de Carles Benavent en la pieza \u201cEntre tinieblas\u201d, de Jazzpa\u00f1a, el cual es revivido en el minuto 8:57; o el caso de la sole\u00e1 de la serneta en el minuto 7:45 la cual sufre algunas variaciones para esta cita.<\/p>\n<p>Es relevante el suave y constante di\u00e1logo existente entre los palos, golpes y aires utilizados por Ignacio Ramos, creando una obra que a pesar de su extensi\u00f3n no genera desconexiones y mantiene la atenci\u00f3n del oyente en lo que vendr\u00e1. Adem\u00e1s, el autor evidencia un conocimiento profundo de las culturas que emple\u00f3, ya que en la l\u00edrica incluye estrofas donde destaca del origen \u00e1rabe la Scheherezada, por parte del flamenco el Camar\u00f3n de la Isla y por parte del folclor llanero Sim\u00f3n D\u00edaz y el Cholo Valderrama:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Perd\u00f3n le pido cu\u00f1ao,<\/em><br \/><em>me conmueve la emoci\u00f3n<\/em><br \/><em>cuando mezclo en mi garganta<\/em><br \/><em>cantos de la tradici\u00f3n,<\/em><br \/><em>y es que el joropo es sin duda<\/em><br \/><em>hijo de esta condici\u00f3n,<\/em><br \/><em>tonada donde se abrazan<\/em><br \/><em>Scheherezada y T\u00edo Sim\u00f3n,<\/em><br \/><em>un contrapunteo sublime<\/em><br \/><em>del Cholo con Camar\u00f3n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Es de rescatar la frase de Ignacio Ramos en entrevista con Luc\u00eda Espinel (2024) donde afirma que \u201cyo nunca fui pretencioso en que iba a juntar un flamenco riguroso con un joropo riguroso\u201d al referirse a que esta obra no se enmarca en un solo g\u00e9nero, sino que tiene elementos de cada regi\u00f3n e intenta rescatarlos como elemento de uni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Se puede concluir entonces que Xarop &#8211; <em>La traves\u00eda del joropo<\/em> es precisa y acertadamente un viaje musical hist\u00f3rico que rescata y rinde homenaje a la herencia europea de la m\u00fasica latinoamericana y m\u00e1s espec\u00edficamente colombo- venezolana a partir de una fusi\u00f3n balanceada organol\u00f3gica, estructurada y musicalmente.
