El proyecto <strong>\u201cSevilla Ciudad de \u00d3pera\u201d,<\/strong> presentado la semana pasada en Madrid, propone posicionar a la ciudad \u201ccomo epicentro internacional de la l\u00edrica y la creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica\u201d, a trav\u00e9s de <strong>un festival que alternar\u00e1 con la Bienal de Flamenco<\/strong>, estableciendo un di\u00e1logo entre dos tradiciones musicales que han cimentado la identidad sonora de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>La iniciativa, que trasciende la mera programaci\u00f3n de espect\u00e1culos, plantea una reflexi\u00f3n profunda sobre el papel de Sevilla en la historia de la m\u00fasica. No es casual que compositores de la talla de Mozart, Verdi, Rossini o Bizet encontraran en sus paisajes la inspiraci\u00f3n para algunas de sus obras m\u00e1s significativas. Esta herencia cultural, que ha viajado por los grandes teatros del mundo durante siglos, regresa ahora a su origen para establecer un nuevo ciclo de creaci\u00f3n y formaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n<p>El Festival Sevilla Ciudad de \u00d3pera, que celebrar\u00e1 su primera edici\u00f3n entre el <strong>25 de septiembre y el 12 de octubre de 2025<\/strong>, propone una experiencia que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo convencional. La elecci\u00f3n de espacios hist\u00f3ricos como el Real Alc\u00e1zar, el Palacio de Due\u00f1as, el Hospital de la Caridad o la Casa de Salinas para las representaciones, conecta el patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico y musical de la ciudad, convirtiendo cada funci\u00f3n en un encuentro \u00fanico entre pasado y presente.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto posee una relevancia especial, en un a\u00f1o que marca dos aniversarios significativos: los 150 a\u00f1os del estreno de \u201cCarmen\u201d y el 250 aniversario del nacimiento de Manuel Garc\u00eda, figura fundamental de la \u00f3pera mundial. Esta coincidencia de fechas subraya la oportunidad hist\u00f3rica que la iniciativa tiene para Sevilla.<br \/>La creaci\u00f3n de la Academia Internacional de \u00d3pera, con sede en la Real F\u00e1brica de Artiller\u00eda y dirigida por Davide Garattini Raimondi y Juan Garc\u00eda Rodr\u00edguez, le agrega una capa formativa al proyecto. Su primera producci\u00f3n, \u201cSuor Angelica\u201d de Puccini, que se estrenar\u00e1 en febrero, destaca el compromiso con la formaci\u00f3n de nuevas generaciones de artistas.<\/p>\n<p>La programaci\u00f3n, llevada adelante por el pianista y director musical Francisco Soriano, incluye propuestas que establecen puentes entre diferentes \u00e9pocas y estilos.
